Three of the engines behind Citra are published under Apache-2.0. Clone them, read them, run them on your own infrastructure against your own models — free, permanently, with no seat count and no call with us first.
What is published
citra-decision-system
The decision engine and the Decision Apps runtime. Describe a decision in plain English and it produces an app that recommends the call, acts only inside the policy gate you set, and records the reasoning behind every approve and reject so the next recommendation is better. Includes the MCP tool gateway, the discovery service and the sandboxed builder.
citra-decks
Presentations, visual reports and long-form documents written from your own material — the spec, the spreadsheets, last quarter's report. Figures are computed by running code against your actual files rather than written by a model, so every number traces back to a source.
citra-flows
AI-authored workflow automation. Describe a pipeline in plain English; the builder assembles it from typed nodes you can open, inspect and edit on a canvas — it cannot invent a node. Run it, watch every input and output, then deploy it behind a webhook or a cron schedule.
Nothing is held back
Each repository ships a quickstart wizard that writes its own .env with fresh
secrets and brings the stack up with Docker Compose. Point it at an OpenRouter key or at a vLLM
endpoint you run, and no data leaves your network. The models are open-weight by default.
There is no feature-gated core, no licence key, and no telemetry back to us. Apache-2.0 means you may run it in production, modify it, and never speak to us at all.

Self-host — free, forever
Clone the repository and run it on your own infrastructure. Apache-2.0. This is the whole product, not a trial of it.
Sponsor — for people who rely on it
If one of these projects saves your team time, you can fund its upkeep: maintenance, the documentation, and the hosted demo people try before they self-host. Any amount, one-off.
Contributions go to Trustedwear Tech Private Limited, the company that maintains these projects. They are not tax-exempt donations, no 80G certificate is issued, and they buy no licence, warranty, support entitlement or influence over the roadmap. The projects stay Apache-2.0 either way.
Enterprise — hosted or in your own cloud
For regulated deployments: single-tenant and audit-ready, hosted by us or fully sovereign in your own cloud with BYOC, with support, an SLA, and help getting the first Decision App live. This is what pays for the open source.
Sovereignty you can verify
Citra is sold to government, PSU and BFSI teams on the claim that their data stays inside their estate. That claim is worth more when the code can be read. Publishing the engines means a security reviewer can check what leaves the network instead of taking a vendor's word, and a customer is never locked to us by the software itself — only by whether the hosting and support are worth paying for.
